After being together in school for 9 days, the students have had some time to think about the way they want to be treated by their classmates. We have had several conversations on how we should treat each other. The students all agreed that we should be kind to each other, helpful, good listeners, respectful, and above all just be good friends to all! We took those ideas and made a contract. Each student agreed to try their best to be all of those things and signed their name to our contract. Each time a student signed the contract, we gave a silent cheer by waving our hands in the air. This is the sign language way to clap! In addition, Ms. D helped us learn all of the sign language movements to correspond with our contract! I created a QR code for each so we could go back and review the signs whenever needed!
