What a terrific trip we had to Belltown Hill Orchards today! We got to take a long tractor ride through the beautiful orchard, pick some of the biggest apples I’ve ever seen then were treated to apple cider and donuts before picking a pumpkin, having lunch and heading home. Thanks so much to all of the parents who were able to chaperone! Here are some pictures from our trip.
We had such fun exploring the woods near the school for signs of fall. We found so many different colors, shapes and textures in our leaves, nuts and twigs! We are observing them closely so that we can write about them like scientists!
We're switching to new computers , so as I update this, I realized, I have this week's Ask Me About on my old computer. I'll attach it Monday. In the meantime, I've attached a class picture of our awesome storybook character costumes and some photos from our flex time work - working on identifying initial sounds. Enjoy the weekend!
**Just a reminder, there is no school on Wednesday, 10/9 for Yom Kippur. |
