What a fantastic time we had at the Fun Run last week! The kids ran their hearts out, the organizers were so well prepared and our 3rd grade buddies were the best cheerleaders! Special thank to the PTO and all of the parent volunteers who worked so hard to make this such a success!!

What fun we had celebrating Valentine’s Day! Thanks to all the parents who joined us and helped out with the stations! We played Valentines hopscotch, we read sight words, then threw them through a heart shaped target, had a candy heart race where we had to move candy hearts from one cup to another in just 1 minute and played Valentine’s sight word Bingo! Fun was had by all! Thanks to all for the very thoughtful valentines! Enjoy the pictures!
What fun we had celebrating the 100th day of school! We made “100 Days Smarter” crowns, we hunted for and found 100 numbered Hershey’s Kisses and found their place on a hundred chart (thank you, Mrs. Sciascia!). We made a snack of 100 things (thanks to all who donated!) and painted 100 dots by making 10 groups of 10. Don’t we seem smarter?!
What a moving and powerful Cultural Arts assembly we were treated to! We learned about brave, strong women who persevered in the face of adversity! We got to “meet” Harriet Tubman, Bessie Coleman, Sojourner Truth and many more as we acted out events the Underground Railroad and Rosa Parks infamous bus ride. We learned that if we work together, anything is possible!
