Celebrating Valentine’s DayThursday, February 14 was Valentine’s Day! The girls and boys made valentines at home. We made valentine holders in school and the children went around with their valentines and put them in their classmates holders! The children brought them home and had fun opening them, I’m sure!!! We also had a valentine party!!! The children had lots of fun decorating heart shaped cookies with frosting, sprinkles, chocolate chips and candy hearts! They also enjoyed delicious fruit and juice, as well!!! After eating, Emma’s mom and dad helped the class play a game called Postman, Postman, Where’s the Mail? The girls and boys had a fun day!!! THANK YOU to all the parents who helped the kids with their valentines; came to and helped at our party; and to all those who brought or sent things to school for the party!!!
