Celebrating Nathan’s BirthdayNathan was in Ohio with his grandparents on November 29 when it was his birthday! When he returned to school after Thanksgiving, we had a little celebration for him! Then on Thursday, December 12, Nathan’s mom and dad came in to celebrate. They brought in a fun Curious George book about donuts that Nathan’s mom read! After she read the book, everyone celebrated with a delicious donut!!!! THANK YOU TO NATHAN’S MOM AND DAD FOR READING AND BRINGING IN THE DONUTS!!!
HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY, NATHAN!!!!!! Our Thanksgiving CelebrationOn Wednesday morning, November 27 we had a Thanksgiving celebration in our classroom!!! As in the story Turkey Trouble that Wyatt’s mom read for his birthday, we ate pizza!!!! The children wore the vests they made with their buddies, the shell necklaces and patterned headbands they had made and ate on their woven placemats!!!!
PTO FundraiserOn Wednesday, November 27 the girls and boys taped Mrs. Whidden to the wall in the cafeteria! It was part of a PTO fundraiser. Children sent in money and received a piece of duct tape to tape her to the wall! When the stool Mrs. Whidden was standing on while the girls put on the duct tape on was taken away, everyone found out that Mrs. Whidden had truly been duct taped to the wall!!! The children had fun and the PTO raised a lot of money for our school!!! THANK YOU to the PTO for organizing the fundraiser, to everyone who participated and to Mrs. Whidden, for being such a good sport!!!!
