And, how could I forget taping Mrs. Whidden to the wall?!

What a fun time we had celebrating our Thanksgiving "kid style"! After writing a letter to Mrs. Whidden telling her how thankful we are for all she does to make our school a great place, we wrote letters to special people in our families. We made some cute holiday crafts like turkey puppets and Indian corn and loved singing Albequerque Turkey!! We pulled it all together with a kid friendly Thanksgiving snack! It was a hit! We made popcorn "turkey" legs, green M&M "peas", granola "stuffing", baby carrots, craisins for "cranberries" and vanilla pudding "mashed potatoes". Check out the pictures below. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! How lucky am I to work with these sweet faces everyday?!
**Reminder: We have an early dismissal on Wed. 11/27. School ends at 1:05.
Also, there is no school on 11/28 or 11/29. Happy Thanksgiving! Reading is a gift and being read to is an even bigger one! I hope your children gave you the gift of reading by reading to you this week. Here are some pictures of us practicing with our stuffies!
What a great week! Check out pictures from our visit from Rachna Agarwal. We had so much fun learning tradition Indian dance!
